“M2M telematics”, Russian largest company in the market of vehicle telematics and personal satellite navigation, continues introduction of BN-City®Complex Fleet Management System at the leading development and construction company “Lafarge Cement”.

BN-City®Complex hardware and software installation on “Lafarge Cement” fleet began in 2009, and this immediately increased economic efficiency of transportation and provided additional safety. According to “Lafarge Cement”, fuel savings in the company reached 40%.

“Lafarge Cement” group is the world leader in cement and concrete production. Company's products were used for many famous projects, such as the Suez Canal, Defense in Paris, Lyon-Nice highway, the Opera House in Shanghai and many others.

A fleet management system based on GPS - BN-City®Complex, a member of BusinessNavigator® family, was introduced into “Lafarge Cement” in Voskresensk (Moscow region) and Pervomaysky settlement (Chelyabinsk region). A dispatch service was deployed at client’s enterprise; it manages hundreds of vehicles.

Additional hardware was also installed on “Lafarge Cement” vehicles -liquid level sensors, which provide information on tank fuel and control its discharge. Sensor data is sent to a AVL-terminal and then further to the dispatch center via a server in a real time mode.

This helped to discover fuel theft for two vehicles. “Lafarge Cement” management had to make tough decisions. As a result, fuel theft completely stopped.

GLONASS/GPS solutions of “M2M telematics” were successfully deployed at leading development and industrial companies: “VETO”, “Garantiya-Stroy Company”, “Prestige-Auto” (“Klinstroydetal”), “Line+” (“Vesta-SF” Holding Group), “DSC-7”, “MetalService”, “Stroyneftegaz”, “Cem-Service” (“Interservice”) and many others.
